We have had a couple of weather turns this November with temperatures shifting up and down but the fish don’t seem to mind. And with overall pretty good weather and fairly warm temps locals and tourists alike are still catching em up inshore and offshore! We had a several fishing charters this week and caught a good assortment of fish. Some catch and release due to seasonal closures but some keepers as well.
Red Snappers and Triggerfish are closed now till sometime next year, but they are both still biting, so catch and release on those for the remainder of the year. The Amberines (lesser Amberjacks) are showing up along with the Flounders. There are still plenty of Kings around and they will stay as long as there is bait up on the beach. Vermillion Snappers continue to line the pegs on the docks as fishermen bring in their catches of the day.
Inshore fishing in November is lit up! Expect to catch Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, and Mullet.
